I was 14 years old when I first picked up the guitar. I first got an old classical guitar. I learned a lot of songs on this instrument and took some lessons to learn the basics of playing guitar. After about a year I bought my first electric guitar, a red Fender Stratocatser which I still own.
I never really practiced systematically but just listened to a lot of records and guitar players, and figured out by ear what they were doing. I listened a lot to the ´80´s players like Adrian Vandenberg, George Lynch, Akira Takasaki, Yngwie Malmsteen, Gary Moore and bands like Iron Maiden, Queensryche. Later I discovered bands like Symphony X, Frank Gambale, Michael Romeo, Milan Polak, Brett Garsed and so on.
In november 2005 I joined novAct.
novAct stands for experimental and progressive rock music, combined with atypical yet atmospheric vocals.
It's an honour for me to work with these outstanding musicians!
novAct guarantees a high-energy performance and will play any stage ranging from a small bar to a big open air festival. To get a really good impression you just got to see them live on stage. Come witness a powerful and refreshing musical experience!
